We plan to do a similar rating system for player houses (if we decide to do player housing) so people who visit your awesomely decorated house can rate them.
Obviously rating systems are not perfect (and are in themselves subject to certain kinds of griefing). But there are reasonable approaches to filter a lot of ratings done out of spite.
