Some of the maps in the current pack have Unix-style LF line delimiters. So you cannot view or edit them properly with most Windows editors, which expect a CR+LF at the end of each text line.
Either delimiter style worrks ok under everquest. The only problem arises when you try to manually edit the files.
The maps I noticed were the TXEVU set that I was trying to add a label to. I checked a few others, found both delimiter styles, don't know how many are affected.
I downloaded a freeware program to convert the files, and I'm ok for now. But I'd rather not have to do it again, and since most EQ installations are on Windows, I would request that the files on the site employ this Windows convention.
