About the five free packs per month for EQ subscribers. I dug into the websites to try to find the messaging on it and see where it was noted, and while I'll show you that and how it states the start/end dates clearly. I'll also admit that we could have done a better job of it.
Legends of Norrath Announces Set Five: Ethernauts! (http://eqplayers.station.sony.com/news_article.vm?id=51115&month=092008)
If you read that LON announcement on the website, you would be taken to this page via a link:
Ethernauts FAQ (http://legendsofnorrath.station.sony.com/ethernauts_faq.vm)
Where you would learn:
SOE is offering current, active, EverQuest and EverQuest II subscribers a great way to sample Legends of Norrath™! From October 9, 2008 to September 30, 2009, current EverQuest and EverQuest II subscribers with paid subscriptions in good standing will receive five non-tradable Legends of Norrath booster packs per month included with their EverQuest or EverQuest II subscription at no additional cost, for their personal collection.
I haven't found the spot where it said "We are no longer having LON cards drop in game." and might not as I have bigger fish to fry right now; but that's what I have at the moment.
