thanks. i have heard it does not work indoors now... anyone tell me if that is true? trying to make up my mind to claim it or take a trade for it.

Here are the "quirks"

#1 it works poorly with project illusion. There is not really a current way of making it work better. It looks at the state of the illusion on yourself, and will give the opposite state to your target. We left it at this because we have no way of detecting if you have the project illusion AA activated or not, and figured it would put an undue burden of enchanters always having to clear their target to cast this on themselves. Instead enchanters just have to pay attention to their own state when they want to cast this on another player. We think this is less burden than something that would ALWAYS happen.

#2 it will likely fail in no-lev zones

#3 when any illusion is being cast, it checks to see if any part of the collision sphere of the new form *at default size* will collide with a wall. If it will, it will not allow the spell to cast. Note. the default size of a dragon is HUGE, 2.5 times larger than the size of the dragon given by Aspect of the Brood.

My observations since the patch are that this is working a whole lot better now. It used to be that even if you had plenty of room (R.E. #3) if the point you zoned into a zone didnt have room (just about any dungeon / etc) then it would fail untillyou either camped out / rezoned at a point that did have room. An example ist he guild lobby. the tunnel at the POK side is too small, if i zoned into the lobby from POK i could not get AotB to work no matter where i went in the lobby, I would have to zone to the guild hall, then back into the lobby from the guild hall, where it would then work. Now i just need to move out of the tunnel.

#2 would be semi-fixable if you reversed the order of the effect, woudl it not? So instead of first click being flying dragon and second click being walking, it was first click = walking dragon (no lev) and 2nd click is flying dragon?

If that was done, i'd probably add a lore tab tag to it "click this again to take off, and again to land" or something

All in all, i'm very very very happy with the item, and even more so after the patch =) Thanks !!!

While your comment on #2 is true... I think we will still leave it. The primary purpose is to turn into a flying dragon not a walking dragon. Though we can consider it at least.
