I guess it's not possible to have a formula to make the recipes for you? Rather than write a new recipe for each stackable item, there's no way to write an "if item stacks, 10 stacks combined = a compacted item 10 charges that will produce 1 stack of items per charge"? Sigh.
Well, I still like my other Gnomish compactor idea. We could all walk around the guild lobby clicking on Gnomes and putting them in it. When we've gathered 10 gnomes, we click on the combine and produce "a pile of dead mutilated Gnomes."
yes. it is still time consuming, requiring a decent amount of testing.
Additionally. It will take up more memory. All items and recipes get stored in memory... and you are doubling or tripling many of the items in the game.
