Almar's Guides.com Changes Weeee! (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=151887) - Discussion started by Community Member AlmarWinfield
So, finally I got tired of waiting and decided to change my own website around:
http://www.almarsguides.com/
Thats What I've managed to come up with, nothing is finalized officially yet, but this is what you're looking at for the future of my website. I'd like to make the left hand side navigation easier to see and change a few things around still... But this is, like I said so far what I've got.
(BTW Index page, aka home page is a big awkward looking since I only have one day on there, give it a week and it will look normal)
As for my Everquest guides. I'm going to be adding the mage 1.0 chart soon, which I still didn't get done. Also I'm going to add some locations to farm Augs.
Really, what I'm looking for here is any comments on my website how I can improve it and such. Since Everquest seems to be the friendliest game I'm most comfortable asking everyone here.
I'd also like to thank everyone so much for using my site and hopefully my site will make me enough money in the future so it could become a full time job for me.
Installing "Everquest: Anniversary Edition" over current installation (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=151778) - Discussion started by Community Member tafkaga
Ok despite my limitations with Hughesnet (limited to 200MB download per day) I have finally got EverQuest patched up to Depths of Darkhallow. I decided to buy myself a copy of "The Anniversary Edition" so that I could install all of the expansions up to 'The Buried Sea'. I thought that maybe the discs would be sorted by expansion but it looks like I just have to start with Disc 1 and install all of them. So what would be the best way for me to do this without copying over more current files and having to go through days of patching again?
I was thinking that the only way to do this would be to move all of files out of the directory and into a temp file, then install 'The Anniversary Edition' to the Sony/Everquest directory. Then go get all of the files out of the temp directory and copy them back into the Sony/Everquest directory so that the updated versions would copy over the versions installed from the discs. Then at that point I'd save myself a whole lot of unnecessary patching. Does this make sense? Or am I way off on this plan?
Ice Cream! (http://www.mapfiend.net/forum/list.m?topic_id=151929) - Discussion started by Community Member Velsha_SilThorne
Now here is a topic that is close to many of our hearts...ok taste buds and bellies.
Ice cream!
For many years my favorite has been Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie but during a recent trip to the store I found they were out. I don't have ice cream often so it is a real treat when I allow myself to have some. I was quite upset that they were out and wasn't willing to leave the store without something sweet. I found a display with a brand of ice cream I had never seen before...and now I can call it my new favorite.
My new favorite ice cream is Starbuck's Mocha Frappuccino. It is a swirl of coffee and chocolate ice cream and it is yummy!
It does satisfy that need for something sweet.
