Red lines in all the maps

I just returned to EQ after a few years, and last night i downloaded all the maps, moved them into the folder. They work good, but was wondering if it was intended for every map to have 2 red lines running hori. and vert. across the map forming a † at given spots in the maps? When i view them on the site they dont have them. But in game they are there.

They are gridlines. Disable layer 3 for them to disappear in game, or go in to the map directory and delete *_3.txt .
